Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions

  • Check browser permissions for camera and microphone access
  • Ensure no other applications are using your camera

Poor Video/Audio Quality

  • Check your internet connection speed (minimum 1 Mbps upload/download)
  • Close other bandwidth-intensive applications
  • Disable background filters if experiencing performance issues
  • Use a wired internet connection instead of Wi-Fi if possible

Cannot Join Meeting

  • Verify the meeting link is correct and hasn't expired
  • Check if the meeting room is locked by the presenter
  • Ensure you're using a supported browser
  • Try joining from an incognito/private browser window

Screen Sharing Not Working

  • Grant screen sharing permissions when prompted
  • Try sharing a specific application instead of entire screen
• Restart your browser if screen sharing options don't appear
  • Check if your browser supports screen sharing (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)

System Requirements

  • Browsers: Chrome 80+, Firefox 75+, Safari 13+, Edge 80+

Network Configuration

ClassaaS uses WebRTC technology which works through most firewalls. However, some corporate networks may require additional configuration:

  • STUN Server: Used for NAT traversal (automatically configured)
  • TURN Server: Used when direct peer connection isn't possible
  • Ports: Typically uses UDP ports 16384-32767 for media
  • Domains: Ensure your domain and STUN/TURN servers are whitelisted
